Health Insurance

Many health insurance policies include reflexology treatments, so check your policy and I can provide a receipt if required.

Please let me know in advance if you have allergies or are allergic to grape seed oil.

Reflexology can be enjoyed as a one-off treatment, or as a course of treatments.

I am happy to tailor your treatment to make it gentle and soothing by incorporating more massage if you prefer or if you have a serious condition.

Please do not book a treatment to take place if you have symptoms of an infectious or contagious disease

Other contraindications may also preclude treatment and include but are not restricted to: Cellulitis, Thrombosis/DVT, Injury/Bruising to area we will be treating, a current Head or Neck Injury, Imminent Medical Tests or Procedures, if you recently started taking Warfarin, Athlete's Foot, Skin or Scalp Infections.

What to Expect

It is advisable to wear loose fitting clothes and ideally wear trousers that can be easily raised to your knee so that you can benefit from a calf massage.

I will start by taking a completely confidential medical history at your first appointment so that I can assess how best to help you and then the actual treatment will be approximately 50 minutes long.

Afterwards we will have the chance to chat and go through sensitivities and you will have the opportunity ask questions.

It is normal to have a heightened senses during a treatment so I will put a blanket over you during your reflexology treatment.  Other normal reactions during and after the treatment are feeling sleepy or deeply relaxed, heightened emotions, stomach gurgling etc and I have an aftercare sheet I will give you to help you get the full benefit from the treatment and explain any reactions you may have.

You will get the most benefit if you relax and close your eyes.
