This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how EMS Reflexology handles personal information. This Notice applies to our website and any product, software, or service that links to it (collectively, our “Services”). By using our services, you’re agreeing to be bound by this Notice.  

A submitted form is used to collect data to arrange an appointment only. This will include your e-mail address, address, name and telephone number and therefore has been provided to us by you the user.   We will NOT share your personal data or information with anyone else, unless required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or legal process served on us or the website.  

As a full member of The Association of Reflexologists, I abide by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics https://www.aor.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Code-of-Practice-LF-22-03-2021.pdf  

I will also collect potentially sensitive health data via a consultation form at your appointment.  This is confidential and only used to identify and be informative to adapt the treatment accordingly.  It also requires client consent.  Under 16 years of age – Parent or guardian must be present or in the same household. No client under the age of 16 will receive a treatment without a parent or guardian’s consent.   

The website host GoDaddy automatically adds cookies to run its service which may include, analytical and statistical tools that monitor details of your visit to our website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data (but this data will not identify you personally). If you are not happy with this, then you should adjust your web browser settings to disallow cookies.  

Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent. GP contact may be required but permission from the Client will be asked.  

If you feel that your personal information has been handled incorrectly or you have a complaint about how your personal information is processed, you have the right to complain and you should contact the Data Controller in the first instance: The Data Controller Emma Mayes ems@emsreflexology.com

Information on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Information, including product pricing and availability, may be changed or updated without notice. EMS Reflexology and its subsidiaries reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders in its discretion, including, without limitation, if EMS Reflexology believes that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Reflexology and its subsidiaries.
